Until after the active shooter situation, we did not see ANYONE at the podiums leading to the elevators asking to see your room key. Parking was an additional charge on top of the resort fee, $10 if self park, $15 if valet (and they expect a tip). The 'reasonable' price is really not all that 'reasonable' when you add the resort fees in which I never really figured out what they paid for. Our room was clean and for a run of the house room, it was a decent location and good condition. We did alert security who seemed alarmed, but also familiar with that situation so we felt this was not the first time she'd been a problem. On our way back down later, we came across the SAME woman in another elevator and obviously avoided it. Upon heading up to our room, the elevator opened and what appeared to be a homeless woman jumped out screaming 'NOT THIS ONE! NOT THIS ONE! YOU CAN'T HAVE THIS ONE!!!' Needless to say, the girls in front of us and ourselves waited for the next elevator. Not just the normal cigarette smell of a casino, but it smelled like you walked in to the back of a Hollister store MIXED with an ash tray. First impression upon walking in is that it is extremely smelly.
